Successful Debut at the Expopharm Trade Show in Munich
From September 15–17, we participated for the first time as an exhibitor at Expopharm in Munich, one of Europe’s leading trade shows for the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and pharmacy industries. The event attracted approximately 500 exhibitors and 11,000 industry professionals, making it an important meeting place for industry players.
BioTechUSA debuted with a booth featuring a more natural, minimalist design—a slight departure from its usual sporty brand identity. When curating our product selection, we focused primarily on the needs of the pharmacy and health maintenance segments, while also prominently featuring categories that allowed us to clearly differentiate ourselves from the wide range of other exhibitors.
Our protein products played a prominent role, as competition in this category was much less intense. In addition, we showcased joint-health products, vitamins, and various creatine supplements, for which we have observed significant demand based on our experience. With our collagen products, we primarily targeted pharmacies that offer beauty care items in addition to health supplements and medications. Two of our innovations generated particularly high interest among visitors: Creatine Candy and the products in our elegantly designed organic vitamin line.
We consider our three-day participation to have been very successful: in addition to potential partners from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, we were also able to establish contacts with representatives from several markets where BioTechUSA is already present or plans to expand its export activities in the future. A particularly important outcome was that our contract manufacturing division also made a strong showing at Expopharm, yielding numerous valuable professional connections and new business opportunities.
Overall, our first participation in Expopharm confirmed that we have a place in both the pharmacy and health and wellness markets with our product portfolio and manufacturing expertise. The exhibition not only led to new partnerships but also provided market feedback and insights that could prove valuable for our future international expansion and business development.
