Audits not only verify our compliance but also help us improve

The 2026 audit period has come to a close, and this year, once again, it provided important confirmation that our quality management and food safety systems are operating consistently at a high standard. At the same time, the audits conducted over the past few months were not just about compliance: they also demonstrated how thorough preparation, consistent operations, and cross-departmental collaboration provide a strong foundation for our day-to-day work.

This period has been complex in many respects. Our unannounced supplier audit concluded with excellent results. At our Dunakeszi facility, an integrated, unannounced food safety audit was conducted in accordance with three standards – IFS Food, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000—with two auditors participating over the course of three days. In Szada, our operations were also reviewed during a multi-day integrated food safety audit. The audits at both sites concluded with high-level results.

In the second half of June, the ISO 9001 quality management surveillance audit was also successfully completed, covering both sites as well as the Shakerstore facility.

External audits were once again preceded by thorough internal preparation this year: a total of 18 internal audits were conducted at the two sites and in the central processes area. These played a key role in ensuring that the audit process has now become a natural part of daily operations, reducing uncertainty and instilling professional confidence in our colleagues.

This successful completion is not the end of the work, but the beginning of a new phase. Key tasks for the coming period will include implementing the version update of the FSSC 22000 standard, preparing for the Rainforest surveillance audit expected in September, and organizing a special factory visitor program.
