Professional Program in Szada at the request of the Hungarian committee of the European Organization for Quality
We welcomed special professional guests on September 8 at our manufacturing and logistics center in Szada. Approximately twenty quests from the Hungarian branch of the European Organization for Quality (EOQ MNB) visited us to gain a closer look at our operations.
Every year, the organization arranges professional visit programs to companies whose operations, processes, and quality management practices can offer valuable insights to professionals in the field. Participants gain direct insight into the operations of the selected companies. In the past, companies such as Knorr-Bremse, Gyermelyi, and OSI Food have hosted participants, and in 2026, BioTechUSA’s facility in Szada was added to the program alongside several other companies.
The day began with presentations by János Polencsik, our Chief Operating Officer, Szada, and Ildikó Szabó, our Chief Quality Officer. The participants – who included QC managers, process engineers, logistics managers, systems developers, plant managers, chief technologists, and quality managers – gained a comprehensive overview of our manufacturing processes, our products, and how quality assurance is integrated into our day-to-day operations.
Throughout the day, János Polencsik, our Chief Operating Officer, Szada, and Ildikó Szabó, our Chief Quality Officer presented our manufacturing and quality management processes, after which our guests were able to follow the most important stages of our products’ journey in practice. Lili Nagy-Katona, Warehouse Quality Control and Analytical Lab Team Leader, gave the groups a tour of the analytical lab; Dávid Kuti, Logistics shift supervisor and János Polencsik showed them the logistics areas; and Gergely Radóczi Production plant manager and János Polencsik guided them through the production areas and factory processes.
The visit concluded with a group lunch and an informal professional discussion, during which the conversation covered not only what they had seen but also the professional questions that arose and their shared experiences.
“It was an honor for us that this year, BioTechUSA’s Szada facility was among the companies selected to share their practical experiences regarding their operations and quality management system with the professional community. We have been building and developing our processes, as well as our manufacturing and quality management systems, for more than a decade. It was a pleasure to welcome guests who truly understand the work that goes into our operational systems, reliable product quality, and food safety. We viewed the visit not as an opportunity to showcase our company, but as a professional forum where we could learn at least as much from our guests as we could share about our own operations. So by the end of the day, we left not only with visitors but also with numerous new professional connections and valuable insights” – said Ildikó Szabó about the visit.
